She entered our world through love,
A miracle, an answer to our prayers.
And with her came the seasons,
Her precious gift, with us, to share.
She gave us Spring,
That we could watch crocus grow,
And dance with playful lambs.
She gave us Summer,
That we could splash in sparkling seas,
And build sandcastles to the sky.
She gave us Autumn,
That we could gather chestnuts,
And kick up leaves with glee.
She gave us Winter,
That we could celebrate Christmas,
And fill the house with toys.
All this and more she gave us,
Filling our years with seasons,
Filling our lives with joy.
